Thats me at the entrance of the gallery.
As usual, i didn't get a chance to take pictures at the gallery but here are the ones i managed to snap.
This was the huge painting on the center of the wall when i entered the gallery. in the painting there was a male human who looked like a puppet controlled by strings and there was 3 frogs at the corner laughing at him.
This is how the inside of the building looks like.
Look at this very interesting piece. from distant it looked very cute, fun and colourful right?
but when i went upclose, i realised this structure was made my brushes! those brushes asians usually use to scrub sinks ans toilets. i was really shocked, but it was definitely very creative.
the following are metal structures.
The first two structures below were named 'The Killing Tools' in the year 1994 and the third one is named 'Semangat Besi' in the year 2000. these were made by Raja Shariman Raja Aziddin.
Dasom and Adlin
the oil painting of a mother holding her child by the shirt using her mouth below was by Ahmad Fuad Osman in the year 2006.
the name of the painting is Fatamorgana #5 - Flying Lessons
the painting below is called 'Happy Garden' by Chang Yoong Chia and it was done in the year 2005.
and the last picture i managed to take on that day is this painting by Syed Ahamd Jamal in the year 1957. called 'Mandi Laut' this painting is 55 years old.
At the end of the trip, one painting really captivated me, and it was called 'alis in wonderland' instead of the usual 'Alice' it was a very colourful and vibrant painting and instead of a girl, there was a boy in the painting. I can stand in front of the painting and look at it for a long time, because there was so much to look at in the painting. sadly, i don't have a picture of it since it was in the gallery.
